PAYMENTS We are using PayFast that offer you a variety of payment methods through the familiar and trusted PayFast interface. We process MasterCard and Visa credit cards, Instant EFT (with SA’s four biggest banks), Masterpass, credit facility mobicred and digital payment method Bitcoin. Since all payments happen on PayFast’s secure infrastructure, merchants do not see, store or secure their customers’ financial information. INSTANT EFT Instant EFT enables buyers to make payments with traditional internet banking with SA’s four biggest banks. The electronic funds transfer (EFT) gets verified instantly. No two day waiting period, no proof of payment required and no disclosing of financial information.   ATM debit cards (via PayD) You can pay via PayD that allow you to pay with your debit card. Buyers enter their debit card and mobile phone number and then authenticate the transaction on their phone. The system works with devices on the Vodacom or MTN network and with debit cards issued by Absa, Nedbank and Standard Bank.   CREDIT CARDS Payfast accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payments directly on the shopping cart system/   DIRECT CASH DEPOSIT If you choose not to use any of the available payment options, you can go to the bank and make a direct deposit into our bank account. Please contact us via email regarding your choice of gift and please send the proof of payment to info @vipgifts.co.za Once your payment is deposited and reflect in our bank account, we will courier it the following working day. We do not courier or send any gift parcels only on a proof of payment.  Only once payment reflects in our bank account, we have a transaction.     PACKAGING The boxes of VIP GIFTS are carefully packed. Each individual gift gets either hand wrapped, or packaged in some way to look beautiful!  Either an added bow, sticker, stamp, feather or something that will beautify each and every gift. The VIP GIFT BOX will then be packed in another protective box for handling and courier purposes. DELIVERY

  1. How much is the delivery fee?

A delivery fee will be added during check out.

  1. Where can you deliver?

VIP GIFTS only deliver in South Africa. No delivery to POST BOXES. Delivery can be done in: Main Centres:    Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, East London, Bloemfontein and George. Remote Areas:  We can also deliver in remote areas.

  1. Who Delivers?

Delivering of gift parcels is via an outsourced courier company to your (or recipient’s) physical address.

  1. When do they deliver?

Deliveries can only take place form Monday to Fridays, excluding weekends and public holidays. We cannot guarantee a delivery time, but the parcel will be delivered during the course of the business day.

  1. Who will receive the parcel?

We will deliver to the person whose name is on the parcel or the person signing to receiving the parcel.  Please make sure that somebody will be available to receive the parcel. Responsibility for the gift, once signed and accepted, is with the relevant person.

  1. What about delivering at companies, hospitals and other organisations?

Deliveries to companies, hospitals, government buildings, restaurants, hotels and guest houses will be made to the relevant reception area. All deliveries must be signed for.  Responsibility for the gift will be with the person that has signed and accepted the parcel.

  1. What happens when there is nobody to receive the parcel?

Should there be nobody at the address to receive the parcel; it will be returned to the courier’s depot.  We will contact you to arrange a re-scheduled delivery at additional delivery charges. That will have to be paid before any delivery will take place.

  1. What info do I need to provide VIP GIFTS to ensure correct delivery?

The courier cannot deliver to an incomplete address.  Please give us as much information to ensure a timeously and correct delivery.

  • City and postal code
  • Name of building
  • Floor number and flat number
  • Department, Extension, Gate number
  • Contact number of the person to receive the gift
  • Contact number of sender
  • Any other information that is necessary for deliveries

 

  1. I want a POSTNET to POSTNET delivery

A delivery of your parcel through Postnet to Postnet is also available.  Send us an email if you choose this delivery option, to obtain necessary information. Email us at info@vipgifts.co.za. Delivery with Postnet to Postnet will be R99 and will take 3 – 5 working days.

  1. What happens if my gift gets lost on the way?

We will follow up with the courier to track the lost gift parcel.  If the parcel has been delivered to the designated address and signed upon receiving, it will be the responsibility of the person who signed for receiving the gift parcel.   RETURNS OF REFUNDS POLICY We take special care in putting each gift together, wrapping and packaging it.  Every gift box gets a unique number and before closing it, we take pictures of the items in the box and the gift box, for our own records. Should you upon receiving your gift box be not satisfied with an item (either damaged or broken), please contact us within 48 hours at our email address, info@vipgifts.co.za Please provide us with as many details, order number and pictures of the product in question. We will either send you a new product or the product can be refunded on receiving the damaged or faulty product. The cost of returning the product to VIP GIFTS will be for you, the sender’s . Only on receiving the faulty/damaged product, we will replace or refund you. We recommend using of POSTNET to POSTNET delivery for all returns. POSTNET offers shipment tracking through a 24 hours customer helpline.  If POSTNET is not available in your town, please use a courier service. DO NOT SEND ANY RETURNS THROUGH THE POST OFFICE.   PRODUCT UNAVAILIBITY AND SUBSTITUTIONS We take great care in choosing our suppliers and our gifts.  We prefer working with small local artisan businesses and reputable suppliers.   On occasion, this results in certain items that become unavailable.  The unavailable item will be replaced with an item of equal of a higher value within the same theme.   INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & TRADEMARK Any person using or browsing this Website is restricted to use any of the Website’s material either by publishing, in any other media or advertising. DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY The store owner of this Website will not be held responsible in the event of any loss, liability, damage (direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by the customer. PRIVACY We will protect your privacy. No personal information will be made available or sold to anyone. Our payment portal is secure and as the merchant we do not have access to your credit details.
